Curious how the Swinging Lifestyle is dealing with COVID and the shut down of Swingers Clubs?
The current global pandemic has affected our lives and our lifestyle in all facets, whilst many of us don’t ‘live’ the lifestyle and have hobbies, careers, children etc outside of the swinging lifestyle, we believe there is a noticeable change coming with how we will approach swinging after COVID19.

If you’re like me, you’ve been cooped up in your home for most of the past month. Those outside of the United States are going on month two or three of lock-down. More and more counties and states are declaring a shelter-in-place due to the COVID-19 virus (aka coronavirus). Many people are working from home, and if they have school-age kids, they’re doing remote learning. Others are tending to the sick, some are keeping shelves stocked, and a myriad of other people are doing things to keep the semblance of normal life for the general populace.
Although clearly first world problems, people are tired of being locked inside their dwellings, tired of working tremendously long hours to care for society’s essential needs and are ready to get back to life.
When the shelter-in-place is lifted and we go back to our once-normal lives again, I believe people will live very differently. People will savour all that life has to offer and enrich their lives with memorable experiences. There will be more celebrations, more travel to exotic locations, and an openness to trying new things. After all, you only live once, and you never know when the world will turn upside down so people will live life to its fullest. With that, there will be many couples who will dip their toes into the lifestyle.
Like most newbies to the lifestyle, they will feel fear, apprehension, and anxiety. But they’ll still try it out. As much as I’d like to think swinging and the lifestyle is more accepted these days, my honest view is that people are still not ready to accept the lifestyle and we are still part of an underground community. To that end, I feel it is our responsibility to show those testing the waters the warmth, kindness, and sexiness that the lifestyle has to offer.
As more people try out the lifestyle and have a positive experience, regardless if they decide to continue or not, they will have a better glimpse of what the lifestyle is about. People will learn it’s not a sex-filled free for all (unless they’re into that). Rather, they will see empowered women, observe a supportive environment no matter the body type, and will appreciate the openness with how everyone interacts just to name a few attributes. Hopefully, some will discover just how positive, caring, and respectful the people in the community are and change their view about the lifestyle. In time, swinging can become more mainstream and accepted.
Until then, we’re all working to stay safe to “flatten the curve” so this gets under control and folks can start going out again. I’m pretty certain I speak for most lifestylers that we’re excited to attend sexy events like Podcast-a-Palooza in Miami, Club Euphoria’s foam party, and trips to Desire Resorts and Hedonism. And oh, will we let loose to experience all of life’s pleasures! How are you going to approach swinging after COVID19?
